My Story
Hi there!! My name is Adie Mitchell and my Scentsy Story began over 17 years ago. It was in May 2006 when I was first introduced to Scentsy by one of my good friends from high school. I hosted an Open House for her and it ended up being one of her biggest parties ever. I had no idea what was considered a "Great Party" but I knew that my friends and family LOVED Scentsy! My friend never once bothered me about "selling Scentsy" and was never pushy. I actually went to her and inquired about it. After much thought and prayer I called her! I wanted to SELL SCENTSY because I fell in love with the product. I was the CANDLE QUEEN before being introduced to Scentsy. I loved the safe, effective way scentsy filled my home with fragrance, and there was no black on my walls, and no flame to burn my house down or to run home to as soon as I figured out I left my candle burning. :) That happened several times. IT WAS TOTALLY SAFE TO LEAVE ON ALL DAY! I WAS SOLD!! I signed up in May 2006 and at the time of signing up I was a stay-at-home mom to my 3 beautiful children. My husband had his own Construction Company with his Brothers and life was good. I loved being able to stay home with my kids and felt so blessed to be able too. So I thought Scentsy would be a fun hobby. Little did I know how fast it would take off and my once "hobby" turned into an incredible successful business. I have been able to build my business through home parties, basket parties, word of mouth and just telling everyone about Scentsy. In my first 3 1/2 years with Scentsy I was fortunate enough to be one of the first consultants to earn an incentive trip. Scentsy's first incentive trip was to Hawaii. Me and my dear friend, Kristen were the only consultants to earn this trip. It was incredible! We had never been to Hawaii and we got to stay at a beach house with Heidi and Orville for a week. It was a memory I will always cherish and a friendship that I'm so blessed to have. Since this trip I have qualified for every incentive trip Scentsy has offered. My husband Brice and I have been to so many amazing places including Hawaii, Cancun, Canada, Dominican Republic, New York and cruises to Mexico and Alaska. And most recently we will be Cruising the Mediterreanean in June 2018 on an all expense paid trip we EARNED with SCENTSY!!
I earned the privilege and honor of being inducted into the Founder's Circle with 50 of the most elite and incredible consultants within Scentsy. In 2008, I was the top #1 seller in the Company. I have continued to earn multiple Annual Sales and ANNUAL Mentor awards throughout my Scentsy Journey. In 2008, I was honored to receive the most prestigious award that Scentsy offers. I was named the "SHINING STAR" for 2008. It is given to one consultant who best exemplifies the Scentsy values and is an example to all. This was the height of success for me. I was so humbled and honored to be nominated and awarded this amazing award. What an honor. I'm living my dreams!! Who would have thought?? I could not be where I'm at today without the wonderful help of my downline "The SCENTSATION-ELLES" and their amazing motivation and inspiration they give to me. I have some of the neatest people on my team and I feel so blessed to rub shoulders with these incredible people. They lift me and inspire me to be better. I love them all dearly. And I get so excited to see them succeed and build their business. And of course the support of my dear family. They have been so supportive! They love Scentsy and know that our lives have been blessed so much by this incredible company. Today our Scentsy business flourishes in this economy. My husband had been in the Construction Business his whole life. He has been in a family company and has had amazing success with their home building business up until the economy took a turn for the worse. I had no idea it would get to the point of no paychecks coming in. It is amazing to me how in a blink of an eye our lives can change when faced with challenges we've never been faced with before. Scentsy has made it possible to not only support our family but we can help others in need as well. We recently moved to our 'Little slice of Heaven" to live out our DREAMS with our family. A small town country life is such a wonderful way of life! Scentsy is a blessing that has not only blessed our lives, but has touched and blessed so many other people's lives as well. We are so humbled and are so grateful to be a part of such an amazing company where family values are illuminated and moral values continue to influence lives. "Give more than you take" is part of Scentsy's values. What a true statement. What if I never would have taken that RISK in sigining up to sell Scentsy because I doubted myself? At the time I totally doubted myself having never done anything like it , I thought " Adie what are you trying to do" Well I swallowed my fear and look at me today! Not only have I grown as a person, I have become a better mother, wife, friend and business woman. I'm living the DREAM!! I hope to help you live your dreams!!
